Well, here we go. Another Winter season is upon us. Last year, I was able to get up to my favored dark site a fair amount. Not so much in the last two dark periods ... but we have had a few clear nights locally, and I was able to get out to western MA this past Tuesday. It's probably a Bortle 4.5 site. The big difference this season is shooting with a Takahashi FSQ. So far, nothing I've owned has matched this scope's ability to capture detail, rich color and contrast. So, I'll re-shoot the well-known targets and hope to venture beyond ....
